XC & RFID - Post 6 ​

Hello! Thank you for your interest in the meettrax platform. I am excited to share with you our journey as we launch our platform! Here are some updates.

Cross Country Support ​

Meettrax has added support for cross country! It has been used for a few meets now, including one with 13 divisions and 2800 entries! So, what features does this bring to the platform? Read on!

RFID Support ​

• Support in our desktop app to read real-time RFID Server data.
• Simply specify the RFID data directory and configure which timing location each computer is. Press connect and walk away!
• RFID data uploads to meettrax to provide real-time splits and results in the app!

Meet Management ​

• Support for xc venues (including ability to upload photos of the course!).
• Team scoring for xc meets, including specifiying placers and displacers.
• Mass assign bibs to competitors, with support for various ordering schemes.
• Add your course layout, including support for multiple race lengths and RFID timing locations.
• Specify each segment of the race so you can provide real-time splits!
• Quickly move athletes between races and assign bibs on the fly.

Mobile App Support ​

• With RFID timing, start the race directly from the app (gun fire time).
• See each race expected and actual start times on the schedule.
• Users in the app can view real-time splits, including live per segment team scoring!
• View real-time team spreads, averages, and total times.
• Coaches can make and adjust entries in the app or on the web.
• Athletes can view their races and bib assignments right in the app.

Other New Features ​

Video Feeds (beta) ​

• We now support broadcasting live video!
• Create as many broadcast locations as you'd like.
• Users can choose their live video feed in the app. Picture in picture support!
• Video can be replayed anytime after the race.

Accept Registration Fee Payments ​

• Collect meet registration fees online.
• Registration fees are computed based on rules you specify.
• Easily send payment reminders. Exclude teams from seeding who haven't paid their fees.
